However, it works well if you make wines from it.
Works fine, but if you're making wines from fruit rather than concentrates, you'll most likely end up with some pulp/seeds/etc. That's the problem - all this will silence the thief. Almost every time I use it, I keep tapping the top of the vial to keep the wine flowing. This can be quite annoying and time consuming, which is why I'm deducting two stars. After all, it does what it is supposed to and makes tasting your wine much easier and more hygienic.
