Excellent teapot. It is robust, well made and made entirely of stainless steel on the inside. It's the perfect size for one person, for the office, or for travel. Many other kettles pretend to be stainless steel, but they have a plastic rim on the inside that connects the bottom plate to the sides. Not this one. This one is smooth on the inside, just a solid piece of steel. It heats up quickly and does not impart a foreign taste to the water. As with any stainless steel cookware, water stains are caused by minerals in the water. To get rid of stains, simply add some vinegar, shake and rinse with clean water.
