amazing difference between old and new
I was skeptical about Amazon One Day Shipping. They delivered to rural Montana in less than 24 hours which was very impressive. Yes it really fits KY onan microquiet 4000. Amazing difference between old and new. I DON'T HEAR how my Jenny started! the old one was so loud and growling I never knew if it would start. eventually it would not start again. Be aware that if your old starter throws parts into the flywheel, you MUST pull them out. I had a Bendix recoil spring in my magneto, and let me tell you, it's almost impossible to fish it out with a metal washer. It also stalls the motor at 100% and won't spin. After some service and catching the faulty parts, this starter is a dream. Make sure your old starter has all the parts like the new one or you will run into serious problems in the future.
