Review on KMC X11 11-Speed Chain: Silver/Black, 118 Links – Optimal Performance for Smooth Cycling by Chris Cruz

I replaced an old Shimano chain with this chain. It shifted great on the maintenance level and seemed like good value for the money. I can't skate because of an injury. I was finally able to ride my bike this morning and when I tried to do my first shift the chain came loose. I stopped and tried to fix it; However, the chain is severely twisted. I've never had a chain twist like that before. I went home, put the old Shimano chain back on and hit the road with no further problems. I will be contacting the seller this afternoon regarding a refund and will update this review to detail my interaction with them. TO UPDATE. My returns window closed on February 6, 2020, so I am unable to contact the seller regarding this item. I will no longer use KMC chains. I'm sticking with Shimano and SRAM, at least I know they make quality parts.
