Review on Sorbus 2-Drawer Nightstand - Bedside End Table With Steel Frame, Wood Top & Marble Print Fabric Bins - Small Dresser Chest For Home, Bedroom Accessories & Office by Dan Deng

Not a good choice as a nightstand

The problems started when I opened the box and I want to add that this is my honest and non biased review. When I opened the box, a strong odor came from the fabric drawers. I figured that I would hit it with some Fabreze, but after one hour.same smell.Second, two of the screws were missing, bit as luck would have it, I had the identical screws from another Ikea put together project. The frame is somewhat sturdy bit don't put too much weight on the frame, because it will buckle. The unit is very short, as a night stand it is quite frustrating to have to reach down. The drawers will not hold anything more than a few pounds because the bottom is very flimsey. A solid bottom for the drawer to slide on would have worked much better for the drawer to slide on; like a thin piece of veneer that you gan buy at your local home supply store. When installing the screws for the top, make sure not to over tighten or they will strip on the wood. No metal inserts to prevent over tightening. All on all, this is a very cheap and flimsey unit that is not worth the cost.

Pros
  • Quick delivery, easy to assemble, cute little end table
Cons
  • The marble print fabric bins may be susceptible to tearing or fading
