I love this 12 x 12 wax paper. in the past, I have made my own from a roll, but it takes time and is a pain in the neck. I have bought smaller precut wax paper at the grocery store, but it was very expensive and thin. This pack of 500, at a great price, is a lifesaver, as far as I am concerned. I keep a stack rolled up in a utensil storage area by the stove that Hubby. made from PVC pipe--what a great idea! When I need a sheet, I just pull one from the middle of the roll, and voila! The sheets are large, and quite heavy waxed paper, glossy on one side, kind of a matte on the other. Both sides are wax coated, so it is quite water resistant. It is heavier than most other waxed paper I have purchased, but folds and creases very well. The only con so far is that it just comes wrapped--not in a box of any kind, which makes storage just a little bit harder. But I love it. I love it is precut, big, and very water resistant. It is very versatile, and since now all I have to do is reach to my left and pull one out, I am eager to find more uses. I do recommend this product wholeheartedly. Give it a try. It will not disappoint, and you will be as happy with it as I am.
