Both plastic tabs after a few dozen uses (*Edit - repeated after just a month of use)
Bought 10 months ago but only used summer 2019. My daughter loved them until these broken tongues were digging into her feet and causing great discomfort. She refuses to wear them anymore. One broke after 10 uses. Did we do something wrong? Shouldn't they last longer? And guess what? After a month of use (maybe 10 times?) - broke again in the same place
