I've bought it twice and both are defective. The first one didn't catch my eye before use, so I left it. But I made sure to check the second one and it is NOT aligned. You can actually LOOK at the folded edge and see that it isn't folded straight. So when you put the edge of the lips on the edge of the mat, it comes off at an oblique angle. I have other lip liners that I bought locally and they're fine, so I'm familiar with Olfa (and generally pretty happy with her). I just had bad luck online.
