We have this GoTrax as well as the Segway Ninebot E45 and all 4 members of our family agree the GoTrax is better. The digital lock is great since it doesn’t require linking to a phone, just enter the code and go. The built in cable lock is also a great feature, not sturdy enough for longer term security but enough to give peace of mind when you’re nearby or just quickly popping into a store. Range, speed, and cruise control feature are also good. We put over 300 miles on this scooter in 2 months and it’s held up well so far. Great for giving teens more freedom (before they can drive), and for adult commuting too. It does go fast, so the two gears are helpful for some speed control when getting used to it but it’s definitely fast enough to be risky if you aren’t careful, and to make helmets a must. Even our teens agree on that!We have very steep hills nearby and the only time this scooter struggles with having enough power is on the steepest hills.
