The 1/8 " female is not used.

Size 1/8" The connector is scratched and does not provide a good audio connection. This occurred after a few weeks of use and happens with multiple 1/8" cables. This makes the adapter useless to me as I cannot use it for musical performances.

Pros

3 USB 2.0 ports: Standard USB A 2.0 transfer rate, up to 480 Mbit/s. Allows you to connect a keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc. to your MacBook Pro.
