Review on 🔪 Fiskars 190520-1001 Titanium Micro-Tip Easy Action Scissors: Efficient 5-Inch Orange Tool for Precision Cutting by Amanda Castillo

I like these scissors. They are SO SHARP when you first buy them, the spring helps ease the work your hands need to do and they are accurate which is AMAZING for small details like trimming machine embroidery thread or pieces of fabric. I couldn't find any other scissors. I crochet a lot, cut threads and cut fabric. and they just don't stay sharp after multiple projects, even titanium coated. After several projects, the blades get stuck in the fabric in certain places or don't even cut the yarn. The tips stay very sharp, but nowhere else on the blade. I've tried using them with a Fiskars universal sharpener and they don't even fit fully (the blades go in about a quarter), so. How will I sharpen them fully? I contacted Fiskars and they told me to use the same sharpener even though the scissors don't fit perfectly. They offer a sharpening service but I honestly don't think they will fully sharpen the blade as the sharpener they recommend to their customers doesn't even do that. I've probably bought a pair every year for the last 6/7 years, although a pair of scissors should stand the test of time (if properly sharpened, of course). ). While I really like these scissors and their concept, I think I'll switch to a different brand/style because they just don't hold up as well as they should. If you don't do a lot of projects that require exceptionally fine points, or you need a much more ergonomic pair of scissors, then of course these scissors are perfect for you! Just be aware that they will probably dull faster than you expect and there is no other way to sharpen them than taking them apart and laying them on a wet rock in the hopes that this will sharpen them again. I will update my review if this happens!
