Review on 🔌 5-Pack Waterproof Relay Harness - 40/30 AMP 12V DC, Heavy-Duty 12 AWG Tinned Copper Wires, 5-PIN SPDT Bosch Style Automotive Relay by Kyle Armstrong

Firstly I have used several of these relays before, at least 3 and they have all worked well in the engine bay. I used one to hook up an extra backup/high beam set and after about 3 months I noticed that my extra taillights were on but the truck wasn't. I flipped the switch to turn on the relay and the behavior reoccurred. I pulled out the relay and found that it was very wet and appeared to be connecting and actuating the relay. I was able to replace a new one and wrap it to better resist water ingress, but cautionary tale. Consider these relays waterproof, not waterproof.
