I bought these to use in homemade soaps as natural flavorings and they have been fantastic! I haven't used all of them yet, but I made a batch of chamomile lavender soap and ground them into a fine powder to add to the soap, then ground it slightly to a thicker consistency to add to the top of each. bars (just to look pretty) and I added some oatmeal with finely powdered bits and also powdered it and mixed it with the flowers and added it to the soap and my batch ended up smelling so good! Not only did it smell amazing but it had a number of skin benefits and out of a 32-4oz batch of soap I was able to keep 2 because they were all gone in 2 days! Everyone loved her! I have to say that these flowers are very fragrant and there are a lot of them in these bags. For my portion of soap I used 1 tablespoon each (lavender and chamomile) and you can't even tell I took some out of the bag other than that I ground it up a bit, giving myself plenty for my soap and giving me a VERY fragrant batch that smells heavenly. I can't wait to make more treats with these gorgeous flowers! I've had them for a few months now and they still smell like the day I received them, love it. I will definitely be returning to this company for my dried flowers/herbs in the future. Once you've found something that works great for you, there's no point in looking elsewhere and risking disappointment (especially with Revain, where the dice are rolling). I hope this has helped other soap makers or artisans. That's a clear victory.
