Review on πŸ“’ Strathmore 455-3, 400 Series Sketch Pad, 9x12 inches, Wire Bound, 100 Sheets, White by Tim Venkatasubramanian

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Paper is patient. This sketchbook has it in every sense.

Acquired in "Wanderer" for training sketches. This is not a notebook, more like a booklet. These are called sketchbooks. A dark hard cover without any frills, good paper of a warm shade, bound in a binding like in a good book - this is all that this thing is. All "information" about the book is printed on the label, which was under the manufacturer's plastic packaging. We are also reminded of the manufacturer by its logo, replicated on the endpapers. The blank cover didn't go unnoticed. Slightly embellished by adding the Faceless God Kaonashi (many people will recognize him already). The cover is rough, almost like a canvas, the paint lay down perfectly on it. Texture makes the image more interesting. The paper is thick, the color of baked milk. She is definitely a pleasure to work with. Suitable for pencil, marker, liners, pens, sanguine, charcoal and other similar materials. The paint comes in waves. Although, if put in a dry technique, the color reflects well. The paper perfectly "tolerates" a thousand and one erasures with an eraser, which is very convenient, especially for those who are learning to make a thousand and one corrections. Great for rough sketches. A five, definitely a five! Ten successfully corrected sketches out of ten. This sketchbook is perfect for creativity for both the student and the professional.
