I've seen reviews from people complaining that they get hot but still work. I didn't have the same experience. I built one of these into a ceiling fan to control both the lights and the fan motor. 15 minutes after switching off the light/fan on the device, both devices switch off. I logged in and it reported overheating. If I tried to turn a switch back on via the Shelly device, it immediately turned it off. If I just run the fan motor it doesn't overheat and draws about 43 watts. Lamps consume about 110 watts. This is within the 10A that each channel of the device is rated for, with each current draw being less than 1A.
