It took a month for this pen to be delivered but it was worth the wait. Any brush lover will love the beautiful strokes this pen creates; Beginners will enjoy the same thing once they get the hang of ink flow control and it's a quick lesson. The instructions are not in English, but there are pictures that are easy to understand. Simply unscrew the brush, remove the red ring, screw the brush back on and gently press the pen body to get the ink flowing. When you are finished using the pen, reinsert the red ring to block the flow of ink. The ink dries fairly quickly within 30 seconds of use. The brush tip is of excellent quality and works great with ink for wider strokes or even finer detail in illustrations. I can't wait to do calligraphy with my daughter!
