This item is mainly metal and works well The polymer washer under the cam of the handle gives a small error Screwing the handle in or out of the nut gives little adjustment but the 3 internal washers have major differences in the Size So you may need to use an appropriate washer, then apply a thin brass washer (tape can be used for low force applications) and then make fine adjustments to how far the knob threads into the nut.
