WOW! The right tool is everything! I've used a blow dryer to speed up drying small DYI projects and found that to be fine. Then an accidental, unknowing water stain was discovered on my new custom made dining table while setting the table for my son and his family on a "pre-COVID” visit. I was still shocked and speechless when my son entered. My husband just pointed to the dining area. My son quickly calmed down and asked if I had a heat gun and almost immediately said "never mind" and went outside. He retrieved his from the chest and immediately began blowing hot air over the large area of destruction, adjusting the temperature to his liking. And he told me to leave the room. After about 20 minutes he asked me to come in and look at a section of a large damaged area. I did not see anything! We took our time eating and then he went back to work wiping down the damaged area. I came back less than an hour later to check on his progress and I couldn't tell where he was! That's when I realized I needed a hair dryer - not the professional level my son used, but definitely an upgraded version of my hair dryer!
