Recently purchased this General two hole pencil sharpener for my wife and her art drawings. General uses aluminum to make this two-hole pencil sharpener, so it's much lighter than the old pencil sharpeners. My wife likes the light weight because she's older and her arms don't always work. Although I prefer the heavier model as it seems easier to grip when sharpening the pencil. But hey, that's just me. The blades of the double hole pencil sharpener were sharp and ready to shave the pencils. They are also removable so they can be swapped out. I didn't look for replacement blades to find out their cost or the same quality as the General double hole pencil sharpener. so at all. All we found were cheap plastic sharpeners that had to be bought new every few years. We think differently about our lives and how we use objects. We wanted a metal pencil sharpener to be the last thing we have to buy for the rest of our lives. And we think we found him with a General 2-hole metal pencil sharpener. We have not been paid or discounted in any way for posting our honest opinion of this product here as a review to help others. We believe it's important as a family to provide an honest and accurate review to help others make informed purchasing decisions that will benefit them and their families.
