Recently a bunch of evil energy used AN fittings. AN fittings use generally accepted US measurements by design, some evil energy fittings require a metric wrench for tightening. Some but not all. It's just sloppy design and manufacture. The problem isn't that you need a metric wrench to get the job done, the problem is that if there's no quality control for the size of the fittings, then there's also no quality control in places where life is at stake or Death. Hardly anyone I know uses AN fittings for windshield washer tubes. You MUST use brake and fuel line fittings!
