Works great but all 6an Evil Energy fittings I got didn't work with the correct 11/16 (or 17mm) wrench so I had to use an adjustable one. I suggest they revise their design and adjust the ratings or tolerances as all the fittings were just a little more than perfect. I liked the price and availability, they match the PTFE line very well and are easy to install so everything else was great.

I ordered three pieces, all three are of decent workmanship. However, when I decided to install the 8AN PTFE hose, I found that it was smaller than the 8AN. Thinking I might have gotten the size wrong I checked the 6 AN and hose and they didn't fit either! Very disappointed, would love to try them during the return period but I didn't take into account that the sizes are industry standard and the Revains recommended retailer and brand should be known.

Despite what other reviewers have written, I ordered this as I was in dire straits and wanted to take advantage of first class shipping. As already mentioned, these things are very small. I've attached a picture of a standard JIC/SAE 8 AN PTFE hose (left) and an Evil Energy "8 AN" PTFE hose (right). Now I have to wait a week to get a standard 8 AN 90 PTFE fitting from another seller. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product as it seemed like a good buy.

I am very pleased with this gadget, not to mention top notch marketing/packaging! I'm not sure some of the other reviewers really know what they're talking about, but nuts don't have to just climb over the end of a hose. I used digital calipers to compare this fitting to a more expensive one and they agreed. So if you're having trouble, something is wrong with your process. I ended up drilling out the nut to actually mount the braided hose. otherwise it worked. The burr/tube side of the hose fits perfectly onto the tube, the silver stamping of the hose fits perfectly. the nut will NOT go FURTHER through the braid. It was a little frustrating but it's a cheap part so you get what you pay for I guess. As a result, mine worked with some update mods: the fitting is stupidly leaking. Trash, luckily I spotted it after running into the store before bed to check something

Terrible, terrible installation. DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! I wasted almost 2 hours putting the fitting on the hose in every way but to no avail. I made sure I had the right size An-6 hose for sure. They even tried tearing off the steel mesh from the outside and cutting off the first layer of rubber, but unfortunately this reinforcement is so poorly designed that nothing works. Seriously I have no idea how you could get them to work with the tubing size you want them to go to. DO NOT BUY!

Recently a bunch of evil energy used AN fittings. AN fittings use generally accepted US measurements by design, some evil energy fittings require a metric wrench for tightening. Some but not all. It's just sloppy design and manufacture. The problem isn't that you need a metric wrench to get the job done, the problem is that if there's no quality control for the size of the fittings, then there's also no quality control in places where life is at stake or Death.
