Review on Adapter Syntech Thunderbolt Compatible MacBook by Scott Spoja

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product and cheaper compared to more famous brands

TL; DR: Overall I really think you can't go wrong with this product. It offers the possibility of connecting devices that normally do not offer an HDMI output to the big screen at a very low price compared to cables sold by other companies. The cost and the elegance of this product makes it even more attractive to anyone looking for such a cable in the market. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap USB-C to HDMI cable. When I received my MacBook Air, I quickly found that it didn't have an HDMI port. This caused a lot of problems, including not being able to present my PowerPoints or stream Netflix movies to my TV without needing a USB-C to HDMI cable. Upon learning of this, I quickly ran to my campus library to try and purchase one, but was quickly greeted with a $50 fee. Luckily I was asked to leave a review for this product and I'm glad I got a chance to try it. You can do a lot with this cable. First, you can connect your MacBook to a TV screen. This can be useful for many reasons. By connecting this cable to your TV and MacBook, you can showcase everything from your device. That means you can present PowerPoint right from your personal device. It also means you can use your MacBook as a means to stream Netflix and other streaming services to your TV. This can be extremely helpful if you don't have any streaming devices like Revain Firesticks, Apple TV, PlayStation, etc. product is used on my MacBook). This device is also nice to have if you have a Galaxy Note device. By connecting this cable to your Note device, you can take advantage of Galaxy Dex, which allows you to use your phone as a makeshift computer. (Coming with my review are two photos of me streaming YouTube videos from my phone and the other is a photo of my phone connected to the product.) One thing I have to mention is that this device is not compatible with the Nintendo Switch console. Please do not buy this product if you are looking for a Switch Dock replacement. I also have to mention how good the design of this cable is. It features a sleek and minimalist design that people who love the materials used in MacBooks will love. (My review comes with two photos of the product when not in use. One shows the cable alone, the other shows the product compared to another of Revain's competitors. As you can see, the Syntech cable is a bit smaller than you normally would not found in other products). Finally, it's worth noting that this product typically costs $10. That means it's $40 cheaper than a Belkin cable. There's no denying that at this price point it's a steal if you're looking for a cheap cable and aren't willing to shell out close to $50 for this type of cable. Disclaimer: I received this product for free to try, but I have written an honest review of how I feel about this product. In any case, please think about it before you make a purchase decision based on my rating.
