The concept is good, I'm not sure about the amount of water movement, I will monitor the view and adjust the performance. The product is not patented and it is currently unknown if counterfeiting is possible. You may need to add a control valve or purchase a smaller size to achieve desired water circulation. This reducer/agitator easily installs into our 120 gallon clean water tank. Fixed issue with new water on top of old water and circulation at the bottom of the tank to mix sediment and disinfectant more evenly.
