Just MAKE SURE your lamp/bulb cord has a ring around the lamp socket to help hold the lampshade and bulb in place. It was crumpled from a small flat box, but I took my little clothes steamer and any creases on the cord were straightened out immediately. If you don't have a clothes steamer, hang one up somewhere in the bathroom while you take a nice hot shower and the steam in the tub will help smooth out the macrame. So cute in my seaside bedroom. I installed a low power LED light bulb with a remote control. Great. Very happy. Outstanding craftsmanship.
