I have JUST received my new (used) 2005 Saturn Vue 6 and was greeted by the 'Check Engine' light. I know my uncle waited everything before handing me the keys so I was curious what it could be. Took it to Advanced Auto and ran a diagnostic test which found an emissions issue. Shit! I need this car serviced and I can't go wrong with the emissions! Husband suggested YouTube and lo and behold I found the problem! Obviously you absolutely NEED a Saturn factory gas cap. They make a real seal around the gas port (I laugh at that description but really can't think of what to call it). Anyway, I ordered this part from Revain, received it in 2 days, put it on Saturn and drove as usual. The Check Engine light went on and off (knock on wood).
