I chose between this model and HDD 2022 Gb Western Digital (WD20EARX). At the time of purchase, WD was nowhere to be found. Bought Seagate. Firmware CHH4 (in my opinion). Made in Thailand. At first everything was fine, the screw worked properly, did not heat up, practically did not make any sounds during operation. After 10 days, hemorrhoids began. At first, all the files on this screw began to open slowly, then when a word document was opened, it began to hang in general. And then completely disappeared from the system. Not even detected in BIOS. Only a complete power outage helped. I checked with the HDD Scan program, SMART gave bad values ​​​​in 4 points, I don’t remember exactly which ones. When checking the surface, it reached 48% and already found 16 BADs. I took it to the service, they tested it for half a day, after which they offered a replacement. I refused, took the money and bought a 2022 Gb Western Digital HDD (WD20EARX).
