For years I toyed with installing some sort of supplemental music system in my 2004 Acura TL with Tech and Navigation packs. Tearing open the dashboard with arthritic fingers and blurry vision prevented me from doing so. I played music from my iPhone and put it in a cup holder to improve the sound. After replacing the transmission at 185,000 miles, I realized this car was going to be my future for quite a while. So the search continued and I found that this device was highly rated on the Acurazine website. I read the reviews here and on other sites and made my decision. And oh my god, I was always happy I did. I had the trunk trim removed and was ready to go when the unit arrived. In just twenty minutes I was listening to playlists on my iPhone playing through the great sound system that came with the car. No more CDs needed, my entire 34GB library was at my disposal. Same goes for my wife, when she uses the machine her playlists are there too. Connecting via Bluetooth is a breeze. When we start the car, the connection is established in seconds. Your phone or iPod can be in your pocket; Buttons are not required. We still use the phone through the car's Bluetooth connection, not this device. The music tone turns off by itself. The volume and track forward and backward buttons work as they should, and the dash shows a truncated display of what's playing. it's good enough The sound quality is excellent. There are no complaints at all. That's the problem. My only regret is that I didn't find out about this little gem as soon as it became available.
