My fat caught fire and destroyed the original sensors. Bought these as a replacement. They work fine BUT. I used two probes in two identical cuts of meat. When I put them in their place before smoking, the readings were more than 20 degrees off. I thought wow. I never thought that these two meats are so different. So I swapped the sensors, yes, still a 20+ degree difference in readings, only now the warmer piece of meat is 20+ degrees colder. I left her, finished cooking and just watched the higher temperature. never read the bottom carefully. Basically, it's useless if not read carefully.
