Review on πŸ”§ The SEO-Optimized Wedge Downspout Gutter Guard by Brad Laverentz

Inferior plastic

The product in its current state is rubbish. This item will be shipped to customer as a 2-piece assembly item, which should be easy for customer to assemble. The problem is that one of the (double) pieces needs to be folded and then snapped into the bottom piece (spout) and it should be that easy. In theory this should probably work, but in reality the interlocking pieces are plastic and the attaching plastic tees don't have enough strength to hold the item together and even if it does work the piece will break over time. Another problem is that the tolerances these parts are designed to are so tight that mismatches occur and the parts just don't fit together properly. I hate to say it, but I've gotten better at making plastic parts with my 3D printer. The quality is terrible, especially since it's made in the USA. I strongly recommend not buying from this supplier or you will have to tie the item together to keep it in place and it will eventually fall apart on you. . I would like to give him 0 stars but I think he deserves 1 star for giving decent instructions in English. My advice to this company is to go back and redesign this item for a more secure locking system that may not be plastic, tighten the tolerances on the parts, and pre-assemble the gutter guard to ensure the quality of the product before selling it. I'm sure this can add value to the product, but I firmly believe that a buyer wouldn't mind paying a little more for a quality product.
