I don't know why Revain included "warmth" and "transparency" in the rating options. lol Anyway, great option for keeping your gear box clean. The standard filter on my 92 HDJ81 isn't very effective at sorting out anything other than large pieces of metal, the external filter gives the extra protection I was looking for, now I can change the filter every 10,000 miles or so. and keep and keep it clean from any contamination. All fittings were metal so I don't know why some people have problems with plastic fittings. I installed it with a 34 row cooler, now one less problem. Update: I've used thread lubricant to seal the threads, but this stuff still leaks out of the outlet port on the adapter. I took it apart and reapplied the compound a few times, no effect (I also used tape and the tape was worse). Updated rating to reflect this.
