I bought this strainer because the description said it could be used to rinse quinoa. The strainer I had didn't work because the holes were too big. Well, the holes are smaller, but not even close enough for quinoa. I now have a second colander (a very large colander, by the way) in my cupboard that I can't use for quinoa either. Aside from being so big and the holes too big for the purpose I bought and advertised it for, it does the trick. It seems to be a good sieve. In other circumstances I would have sent it back. However, it seems inappropriate during a pandemic, so I'm saving it. It's not that it's a bad screen, it's just that I can't stand false advertising and that's the only reason I bought it.
