UPDATE: I ended up buying a second collar when my pup was growing and the second one is holding up great - no hooks. I'm really excited about the product. This beautiful collar is exactly what I was looking for. I was a little hesitant to buy it due to sizing concerns, but I'm so happy I pulled the trigger and got it. Make sure to measure the neck as directed in the product description to choose the correct size. The width is not overwhelming and the material is soft on the neck. The size gives my pup room to grow without being too big, bulky or awkward. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because the material on the collar can snag and wear out, but be aware it is a soft fabric and I have an active whippet puppy, so this should have been expected. I will definitely buy another one because it's so pretty!
