While the stairs are fine. It serves the purpose for which I bought it. It takes up very little space. Easy to fold and durable. Assembly was difficult as the screw holes did not line up well. And to tighten a screw, you had to use both hands at the same time. I spent most of the build time removing the screws that kept falling to the ground. It took a sequence of 3 people to finally put it together. The first is me, the second is my daughter, the third is my grandson. We all know how to collect the necessary parts. But this ladder turned out to be a problem.
