I have been using this type of juicer since I was a child. My mom still has the ones we used as kids. They work great! I've been looking for one for quite some time. I finally stumbled across this gem. I ordered this despite the reviews I read about the lid breaking off due to the thin piece of plastic holding the lid when opened. It looks like this issue has been fixed based on what I've read. When I received mine I was disappointed to find that it has a brittle piece of plastic and with regular use I see it chipping in the future. I would give it a 5 but it only gets a 3 because the lid detaches from the plastic hinge over time.
