I've read a lot of negative reviews about Lenox single tooth drills but had to try it. The 2-1/4" diameter is about the same as my 18v Milwaukee drill with a bi-metal hole saw. The Lenox One Tooth was twice as fast as the bi-metal, but with only one large, high-speed blade. The tooth, the it grabs and releases, grabs and releases, until the hole is cut Difficult to control with a light hand drill Makes a rough hole and doesn't cut wood materials like MDF, OSB, or even plywood very well The Big Hawg and Blue Boar TCT -Bits are a huge leap in performance and much easier to work with.and in both cases I found it much easier to drill than with a single tooth.Odd that Lenox didn't come out with their own 3 tooth upgrade for this old design.
