Save yourself the headache by replacing the universal adapter first. .
Overall great price, works well. My problem was that their universal adapter that connects to cold water didn't close. I spent a lot of time and pain in my neck on it. The inner square O-ring was not sealed. I suggest you ditch the universal adapter and buy the JG valve which I replaced it with. This adds 10-12$ to the overall cost of the device and you will need to go to a hardware store or maybe order one from Revain but not use the one that came with the device!
