Not as advertised - particles too small to keep in a pouch.

I have some problems with this product. I used it on Triton's recommendation after sending in a water sample for ICP testing. gallons including sump. I put it in the media reactor and measured the PO4 both inside the tank and outside the media reactor. After 3 days only a slight decrease in PO4 was observed. My PO4 was quite high at 0.34ppm using a Hanna ULR meter. The best I could get after 4 days was 0.23ppm. I switched back to SeaChem Phosgaurd. Starting at 0.23 ppm at 8:42 a.m., it fell to 0.15 ppm at 8:35 a.m. the next day, 2 days later to 0.05 and 2 more days to 0.03 ppm. I tested several times from the tank and from the environment. exit from the reactor. The second problem is dirty. I couldn't get it to stay in the pouch that came with it. I've flushed a lot down the drain. After taking it out of the reactor, I let it dry (still in the pouch that came with it). Once it dries I can shake the bag and the dust will fall out. I shook it about 30 times and enough dust came out that I didn't want to flush it down the drain and used a paper towel to pick it up and toss it in the bin. I would not recommend it to any friend and I will never use it again myself.
