Why advertise 13 amps when the motor itself runs at a maximum of 9.6 amps? Yes, those extra boosts make a difference, that's the only reason I chose the EOF 100 Paint Shaver Pro. I thought I could get a more powerful engine for less money. I will be sending it back to Revain to get Paint Shaver Pro instead. Update: 05/09/21 Aside from incorrectly advertising the 13 amp motor. The car falters a bit, but does what it's supposed to. I've just finally had a chance to use it and my attempt to adjust the slice depth failed, now it's stuck and the cover won't swing back freely. Revane has agreed to send another while I return this one. I hope it's just one lemon and the next one works. If so I'll definitely be increasing it to 4 stars regardless of the 13 amp motor being the 9.6 amp because it still saves time and money. Also just noticed that they updated their stock photo to 9.6 amps instead of 13 amps. Thanks very much! Update from 05/11/21 A replacement device came, but is defective! There is something in one of the notches that the depth adjustment pin goes into that doesn't allow for full adjustment. To be honest, I'm starting to think this is a port load of German tools. Downgrade from 2 to 1 star!
