Works great as a gravel cat litter - does not require listed properties
No odor (HUGE plus!), no absorbency as it is gravel and the odor is characteristic of the pads, not that gravel. The mold doesn't usually penetrate the cat's paw pads to be tracked, but I place a thick rolled towel outside the litter hole to catch bits that might be knocked out if the cat leaves. Very happy with the system where the litter and attached pieces of gravel can simply be double bagged (grocery bags only) and thrown into a regular trash can.
