I have $3000 cassettes and use this scale with a few others. I have a much more accurate digital scale from Japan, but I like these for a quick check. I think the main difference between this model and Shure is that Shure allows you to be more accurate with more markings. Size is the main reason Shures are much larger and have more marking area. I think for €15 you really can't go wrong. I mean, people want to buy something made in a Chinese sweatshop for the same price but different weight, and I think people like to make the mistake of going digital first instead of buying analog first.
