Seat comfort is great when properly installed and adjusted. Lock the dial. Neglecting this will cause normal use of the seat (i.e. riding with your own weight on it) to push the seat cushions further outward and effectively lock them in that position. The photo shows the buckling of plastic parts compressed in this way in less than 100 miles of travel. My attempts to unlock it appear to have ripped off and essentially destroyed some sort of internal screw (the dial can't be turned in any direction). received the seat and would like to try different width settings. Or just forget to turn the locking screw. Don't make my $50 mistake - lock the dial once you find a comfortable position!
