Review on 💾 WD 2TB Black Performance Internal Hard Drive HDD - 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache, 3.5" - WD2003FZEX by Dee Parson

After three drives and three failures, I gave up trying to get WD to fix the black 2T drive issue. All three drives squeaked (like bad brakes) when the computer was turned off. WD support initially said this was normal and then switched to stating that this was totally unacceptable. Revain did a great job returning failed drives, but despite many calls, WD couldn't decide what to do and how to remove the drive without a fuss. The last call for the 3rd unit out ended with WD saying they would investigate the problem and send me an action plan. They never returned. On the contrary, they emailed me saying that I owe them information. A complete mess on their part. It's a shame that a great company like WD can't make a top-notch 2T hard drive work.
