Review on Polder 358 Ultra Probe featuring a High-Heat 40-inch Silicone Cord by Christine Dhillon

I bought this to replace the original temperature probe that came with my Polder thermometer which was burned between the oven door and the oven. This new one was a bit pricey at $11 considering the entire original polder was only around $17. But I don't like throwing things in the landfill so I just bought this expensive probe. It turned out to be twice the size of the original probe, but the pin that connects to the block was the same size and works fine. In fact, the larger probe is a bit easier to use: it's more convenient to put masking tape on the wok's handle, so it works better than the original probe. This probe would get 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.
