This feeder is fine if you plan on lifting the entire tank cap to feed the males as when I fitted mine it was too wide away from the feed door. This was due to the rod connecting the feeder and suction tube. I also noticed that the edge is a little jagged on the side you have to lie on. I was afraid my fish would swim against him (which he did) and hurt himself. I fixed it by turning it upside down, but that just doesn't work. Food sticks to his sides and he can't find it. I ended up buying an adjustable clear feeder which is a bit more expensive but works better for my fish. he is my baby <3
