Good for the price. - Tools & Equipment

Item looks solid and works right out of the box. The included foam pads were a nice touch. Despite touting a more powerful engine than most rivals, this car still gets a little stuck or bogged down on lines and body curves. Also, I figured I'd want a slow start and not spill product all over the place, but since it wants to sink in a lot under load, you'll need to back off the buffing paste a bit to rev it up before applying it to the paint. This process requires more material than my old non slow start machine. Now about pluses. The machine quickly gets along with flat screens. I've used it for color grading and waxing, and the longer stroke and 6" pads make it easy to handle large slabs. The option with two handles or no handle is good. I prefer to use the platypus head for steering and the machine is pleasant to use. , even over a longer period of time. Not quiet, but not loud either. Some vibration but not as bad as my old car. As the title says. For the price it's ok. After several months and several cars. The slow start function that I criticized earlier has gotten better. The original problem must have been user error. The machine will become VERY HOT after a short time. Although this isn't a huge problem if you're not using it on your walking in shorts, it takes a great deal of time and effort. lots of pressure on the pads, I wear out the pads MUCH faster than I ever did with my previous polisher.
