Fits 2001 Corolla front doors. Installed speakers Pioneer TS-A1676R 6.5 front and Pioneer TS-A1686R 6.5 rear. (You can use the old factory speaker mounts for the back panel.) There is no need to drill the door or modify the speaker mount. However, the supplied self-tapping screws are rubbish. If you decide to use them, be careful when tightening them. You can easily clean up old factory holes. I defused 2 mines on the driver's door. I wrapped the screws with teflon tape and then put them in the cleaned hole. However, if it turns away from me during operation, I use some bolts, nuts and washers and some blue threadlocker to hold the speaker in the door. UPDATE: One of the two stripped screws came loose on mine and was causing the speakers to rattle when playing music. I fixed it by pulling the inner door panel back out, pulling out the speaker and replacing all the screws with nuts and bolts along with the blue thread lock and reinstalling the speaker on the adapter plate. For now, this seems like the best option right now.
