High quality pump but poorly designed inlet and outlet mounting threads as they are plastic not metal so this pump is bound to leak and barbed fittings included in the kit will They also made out of very thin plastic which I didn't use because they leaked I had to go to the house store to buy various hose fittings. Once installed this pump was powerful and performed as promised, I expected it to last for many years. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of operation with very limited use of the pump, it shorted out and smelled like burnt electricity. Couldn't figure out how to contact the seller so I contacted Revain customer service, they will send a replacement hope it lasts or ask for a refund. I am very concerned that we will have a repeated problem and possibly burn our cabin down if no one is around when the unit fails.
