I was able to solve the ventilation problem (the compressor relay failed) so it works quite well, but there are a few fingerprints on the metal contacts. I don't know if it was just part of a pack of two relays from a larger collection or if they are actually not as 'new' as the seller would have you believe. The markings on the relay look a bit worn. Maybe it's just an old part (it was bought for a 2006 Honda Civic) so the markings have faded over time. But for now it's working and my AC is working reliably again, so that's all that matters to me.
