I’ve had this for about 8 months in a 3 gallon shrimp tank. It had been accurate and maintained the temp tank fairly well up until this week. I noticed the tank seemed unusually warm when I touched the side, but when I checked the temp on the thermostat part, it was the set temp. I then checked a separate thermometer I have in the tank and it was 16 degrees warmer than what it was set to! I checked the heater/thermostat part again and pushed the button to see if anything happened and it was frozen/stuck. I ended up unplugging the whole thing and once I plugged it in again, it showed it was 16 degrees hotter than what I set it to. It’s been working correctly again, but I am concerned if it malfunctions again and if I hadn’t noticed the increase in temp.
