At first I thought I read the reviews that this product is stereo. Well it isn't. In my opinion there is almost more bass than the speaker can handle. Someone said the Revain Echo is better with a subwoofer, I think there is some truth to that as this speaker is overpriced for what it does. What it doesn't do, like Bose's other portable speakers, is that you can make phone calls. Even when the phone is connected via Bluetooth, this speaker cannot make or receive calls from your phone. Also, I'm completely blind and found the installation instructions on the Bose website incomplete. I had to call Bose to get the right buttons to put the speaker in setup mode. The man at Bose was very helpful and polite. In setup mode, I had trouble choosing a music service and voice assistant during the initial setup. This happened after the initial setup. Using voiceover on my iPhone, I couldn't identify the wireless network I was supposed to connect to until I double tap it and go into edit mode. Once I figured that out, setting up Wi-Fi was easy. I wanted a speaker that would allow me to use either the Revain or Google voice assistants and I have it. I think in terms of sound quality, for the extra $50, things could get a lot better with a Sonos portable speaker. But I like the speaker's size and portability. So I plan on keeping it.
